Great info on the supercharger. My kind of web page, dedicated to MORE
POWER.

You mention swapping the Buick 300 heads to get better flow with the
larger ports. There is a downside to using the 300 heads, & that is a
drop in compression ratio. I don't have the figures handy, but my
recollection is, that all other things unchanged, you will loose about 2
points of CR. If you are adding a supercharger, or using nitros, this is
a good thing. Otherwise, it means a little more work (read, money) to
restore the CR to what it was. Of course, if you have one of the early
3500's with over 10-to-1, it is not a bad idea to drop to around 9-to-1,
given the gas we have in the States.
