I've been hearing a little klunk comming from the right rear of my '73 TR-6 I pulled off the wheel and wiggled the half shafts. the U joints were newly fitted at the beginning of the summer when I installed the rebuilt hub from TRF (which looks like it is leaking grease into the brake drum area, but that's another problem>. I could not find any play in the U joints but I noticed some slop in the diff. Time for a rebuild? It has about 68,000 original miles on it. Ron L'Herault |
