Lead Gas Supplement

Greetings,

This is something that I was wondering and has been further questioned 
when I met the PO on the weekend:  Should I add a lead supplement to the 
unleaded  gasoline in my 1970 GT6+ ?

I always use premium fuel and when, by mistake, I use regular grade unleaded
gasoline, the engine does not run smoothly at all.
