I have to admit that my reaction was pretty much the same as Larry's,
but I'm willing to give Dan the benefit of the doubt for the moment.
However, if his message starts appearing in rec.autos.* newsgroups and
other car mailing lists, then I think we'll have a pretty good idea of
where Dan is coming from. In the mean time I'm hanging on to his
address, just in case.
