Not to take this too far, but my major coplaints are:

1. He *does* work for the company he's plugging;

2. It was a long, commercial-sounding post. Had he posted "ATT has a great
   leasing deal - the number is xxx-xxxx" I probably wouldn't have had such
   a negative reaction.

Perhaps my reaction was a bit knee-jerk. However, I don't announce it when
Monsanto has a deal on Roundup...
