Well I guess I shouldn't ask any questions about the electrical system,
since my last set went unanswered. But I think I've found the answers
to those questions. Don't know weither the weather has just been too bad
for most of you to go out and play with your Bricks, or weither everyone
is afraid of the electrical system. I hope it's the former. And the
latter is why I'm slowly writting the series Electrical Primer. Check it
out on the Morgan web page listed below. Some of the articles are on both
web pages, others just haven't gotten put up on the Brick page yet.)

So, I'm going to try again, and see what happens. The info. below is based
on my 75. If the wires are a different color please let me know the year
and VIN of your car.

1. Check the headlights. There are 3 wires going to the headlight connector,
a Black for ground, and a Green and a Brown. Turn on the head lights to
low bean, and see which wire the Green or Brown has 12V to it.

2. The front parking/turn signal has 3 wires going to it, a Black for ground,
a Light Blue and a Dark Green light. With the lights on (no turn signal),
which wire has 12V to it?

3. The tail lights. How many bulbs are there? What do they do, parking
light,
stop light, turn signal, backup lights .....?

What color wires go to each of the bulbs? For a multi function bulb,
possibly the turn and stop light, which wires have 12V for what functions?

4. On the doors, one door has 2 switches in the A (and or B) pillar, the
other door only has one switch. Which door has the 2 switches? What are
they for? You will probably have to open the door, then press each switch
   and see what turns off.

Do both courtesy lights and the dome light come on when the drivers door
is opened and the pass door closed? What is on when the drivers door is
closed and the pass. door is opened?

5. What color wire to go the licence plate lights?

6. Do the front and rear side markers blink when the turn signal is turned
   on?

7. For extra credit. Anyone want to drop the headlight switch and try
to figure out what wires go to what pins and what they do?

Well that should keep several of you busy for a while. I'll try to have
some more questions in a couple of days.

TIA

John
