Hey everyone,
One of my friends is getting a bit of a run around
trying to smog and register her Miata. Apparently the
stuff coming out of the tailpipe is well within spec.
However, she was told that it failed the test because
the idle was too high.
She would like a recommendation for a great Miata
mechanic in the south bay. She lives in Los Gatos.
Additionally if anyone has recommendations for
honest/upright places to get a smog check done that
would be apppreciated too.
FWIW. The car is a 1990 with the original 1.6 liter
engine.
