I let the chicane force me to the inside of the showcase turn. Why?
Because there was no reward for increasing your exit speed out of the
chicane. The exit of the chicane went right into the tightest part of
an increasing radius turn. There was no acceleration zone in
between. I was able to keep my car at its cornering limit along the
inside of the entire showcase turn with only moderate throttle, so I
could not have carried more speed at any point in the turn by taking a
wider entry.

Another point against trying to get to the right after the chicane
cone: for every degree that you turn to the right to set up the turn,
you have an extra degree to turn back to the left. There really
wasn't any space to do that in.

Carl, I can send you my video if you'd like to host it.
