Hello Autocrossers,
For some drivers it was a double header this past weekend. Saturday was the
drivers school under the guidance of headmaster James Creasy and his wonderful
staff of volunteers. Without the help of so many club members, an event like
this just cannot happen. A big thanks goes out to all of them
Sunday presented us with round # 9, chaired by Jeremy Rine and Ben Martinez,
who also filled the parking lot with a variety of 90 degree turns. The weather
was again perfect and the event went smoothly.
Round # 10 will be next Sunday in Marina. Bryan Nemy and myself will be
chairing. I am almost finished with the course design, so look forward to yet
another box and a nice long set of slalom cones. Sunday is Father's Day, so
feel free to bring along your dad. We hope to get the course down by 8 o'clock
or shortly thereafter. That of course will depend upon how large the setup crew
is. Bring your lunch and favorite cold drinks.
