You can overcome the 99-03 deficiencies in shock compression by not checking
the grease in the swaybar bushing for about 35k miles, and than making sure
not to inspect your end link bushings for deformation and binding. The
combination of these will give you more than ample bump, and the landing on
rebound will also be sufficient.
