Years ago, there was a Vacaville Raceway right next to that airport. In 
fact, you can still see the banked corners if you know where to look. It was
an oval with a road race course built in. Can't answer the question about
the airfield, though. And please note how homes are creeping in on that
site, too, always a death knell for motorsports.
