Had a turbo "explode" on the intake side and dump its load into the motor,
lots of bad things happened. "I had just shifted into third on full throttle
acceleration and it just shut off" True but, not exactly the complete story.
Worked at the dealer after I put the air cleaner and muffler back on and
took off all the numbers and decals before towing it into the shop.

Actually, I used the term "spit'. The big-end part of the broken connecting
rod, while still attached to the front throw of the crank, punched holes in
the pan and block as well as taking out the cam. Much of the noise probably
came from all the valve/piston interference on the cylinders aft of the cam
break. I don't want to experience that again, even though it was thirty
years ago!
