Just to back up everything Sherry just said, chairing an event can be really
fun! For one thing, it's a good opportunity to practice assertiveness. You'll
also be pleasantly surprised to discover that most everyone is more than
willing to make everything work. When it's all said and done, you leave with a
tremendous feeling of satisfaction.
You also get a neat jacket like all the cool people are wearing.

That's right, you can add your name to the list of SFR Super Star Event Chairs
in March. List now includes Vernon Head, Katie Kelly, Jeffrey Gordon and
Regina Morec.
Openings available are for March 3 and March 17, both at Oakland Coliseum,
which are most of the remaining opportunities at Oakland this year.
I am also hiring event chairs for the April 7 event at Candlestick, the day
after the driver's school. This is a special opportunity, as you will have the
Saturday course set up to start from if you want - could be especially
appealing if you're not that experienced in course design.
