I was in the sixth grade, and Dave McElhatton came on KPIX with an
emergancy report. Up until then, I thought John Lennon and the rest of
the Beatles still had Beatle haircuts, like the Monkees. Boy was I in
for a shock.

near as hard as when John Lennon died. Harrison's
death brought back that moment - was it really 21
