no, they get real quiet and hope that if they ignore you, you will leave
them alone. :P
if you should find yourself in this position, never, EVER tell them what the
car is. i always say "91 mustang GT" or "91 tbird supercoupe", etc. life
is SO much easier this way.
if you do tell them its a cobra, they might have heard of the mustang cobra,
but not the 60's roadster cobra. or they suddenly really dont want to deal
with you because it might be something out of the ordinary and they might
get sued.
another place that was good: Lee's in alameda. its not a modest place, as
it says "World Famous" over the name the of the store. are auto shops
tourism draws?
now, back to wiring!!
