Please tell me no SFR F-body owners actually bought a $440 front sway bar
for autocrossing. I currently have 3 sway bars for my F-body: The OEM POS
front bar(30mm I think),the 32mm 1le bar, and the huge and heavy 35mm Addoco
bar (Some of you saw me carrying it around at Divisionals. read=HEAVY).
Total investment in sway bars= $130. ($80 for the 32mm 1le bar and $50 for
the 35mm bar). So for me, the cost of having multiple bars is not an issue.
For my car thou a front sway bar change was neccesary in order to keep up
with the faster 1le car, without it I would be constantly struggling just
to keep up with my other compeitors.

I do think there should be some limitations on shocks/struts in Stock
classes. Only two adjustments with no resivors should be more than adequete
for a stock car. IMO those high $$$ penske shocks have no place in a low
cost stock class. And revalving you current shocks isn't that expensive,
Shoktek charges $75 each and Bilstein USA charges $50 each and has a 2 week
turn around time. I had my Bilsteins revalved and the end price was still
cheaper than the double adjustable Koni's.

Escept that some people have 3-4 bars @ a couple hundred dollars each.
One
desirable F-body bar is $440.00

I disagree, the lighter wheels almost always cost substantially more.
Besides, if there is no real advantage (weight), there is no incentive
to
spend the big bucks.

Claiming is ugly and hard to make work. Even if you re-valve an allowed

shock, I doubt you'd be at $1500/corner on a Stock Miata (the price I've
been
told Penskes cost)

If you have a car with no rubber brake hoses available, I'm guessing you
need
to buy another car.
