Yes, that was very funny! Rex and I had a nice, comfortable air-conditioned
drive out. We drove directly to the event site, and parked in the paddock.
I pulled the lever to open the driver's door and pushed the door open a
crack. It was so much hotter outside the car than inside that it was just a
reflex to slam it shut again! It was as though you opened a windowless door
and discovered that it was a door to hell.
Rex, being from Arizona, thought I was overreacting a bit. He did
eventually convince me to get out of the car :-)
