Mark:
Actually it doesn't matter that much to me where I paddock or with whom. My
concern as a new participant to Nationals (this was my 2nd) is finding a
parking spot for my truck/trailer/car. Kinda like going to that premiere
movie, only to find no parking spaces, oops, moviews started, anxiety grows,
movie over.
My first Nationals I paddocked next to some wonderful folks from PA and NM,
actually courteous enough to wave me into a spot after circling around for
about 1/2 an hr, getting kicked out of a unmarked spot after practically
unloading all my stuff.
It just seemed to me much abuse occurs (maybe by lots of the big regions),
but also by many individuals. I just would hope for more organization and
fairness for all competitors, regardless of experience, social ranking, or
size of transporter.
Again, I appreciate the efforts by those in Paddock Patrol this year, hope
some fine tuning occurs for the next event.
