I think everyone who knows Gerry will attest to his amazing skill with
the car, however, all of us who race with him on a regular basis also
know he is racing in a over-200k tin can which is so embarassingly stock
as to be ridiculous. He and I installed a salvage yard transmission in
that car 3 weeks ago and I was amazed at how hard he had to look to find
THE transmission. I would personally bet my house on the legality of
that car, down to every nut and bolt. Any protest would be a waste of
your time. Additionally, think of who you have been beaten by, if you
take a car, spend a lot of time and money preparing it to the _limit_ of
the rules and then someone comes along in a 10 year old commuter and
beats you in Topeka, as a rookie.

Is it obvious that Gerry is my hero?
