What about a couple of disconnected LED's in holes for Tokico strut access?
They're only 4-6mm in diameter.

Currently I have a couple of plastic clips that hold the interior pieces
together stuck in the holes, so you can't see a hole, and it looks like it's
supposed to be that way.

I'm not going national for a long long time, so it's not an issue for me.
