I vaguely remember the same thread. I think I might even have
participated. ;-)
I can't say that a concensus was ever reached, but the leaning was toward
"illegal". I will say this - if someone fast but "untied" ever gets near
the top of super stock and decides to protest things could get ugly real
quick.
But I'm in ASP now - still don't know for sure my silicon vacuum hoses are
legal, but I don't have any factory unauthorized tie wraps or clamps.
