Thanks Jay. Bert really did a great job on his pictures.

Everyone,
I've got a lot of great ideas for feature stories, but they all are going to
require time to assemble facts and photos. One of my upcoming ideas is a story
on the Series IV automatics. If anyone has any factual information regarding
SIV automatics, please contact me. Mostly I'm looking for a production number.
We know that they were produced during both the SIV and SIVa production period,
but I really want to know a number for the units produced. Can anyone help? I
believe that there were actually more of them produced that we might think, but
they appear to have a poor survival rate.

If anyone has ideas for feature stories, please feel free to contact me.
Normally I like to have stories prepaired up to six months in advance. This way
I'm not scrambling around at the last minute trying to come up with ideas.
Right now I'm good up to March and even though I have some unfinished storied
in the works, I need to pull in some fresh material and get my safety margin
back up again. I'm looking for both technical and personal profile stories.
Please contact me. I'll be happy to help put a story together.

Thanks,
Ian

Bert, GREAT PICTURES! I don't think the Rootes Publicity Department could
ever have composed such great shots. How much did you have to pay the
ducks for their walk on? I think the women's top hats were the clincher.
Many years of joy and happiness to you with both of your brides!

Jay

P.S. Thanks to you too, Ian. I look forward to the first of every month
for your next edition.
