Hi,

I've had the privilege of cutting up several TR6 parts cars. All of them
(ironically) were repaints over _damson_. From the looks of it, the
painting was done early in the cars' lives.

At any rate, the best way to do a color change is the strip the car
(remove the windscreen, bumbers, panels in the boot etc.) and spray away.
Don't forge to "Jam" the car too.

The problem is that without pulling the body off the frame, you will miss
spots that will show up later. Whether this bothers you is something only
you can answer.

Bottom line - to change the color of a car and to do it right is not cheap
by any stretch. If you're thinking $1k to do the job, you need to re-think
what you're trying to accomplish.

regards,
rml
