    i can vouch for Diamond Back Classic Tires as i bought my redlines from
them a few years ago. the redline side is smooth excepting the redline with
all
tire info on the inside on a modern radial. you can buy better performing
tires for
autocrossing and such, but i love the look and feel that redlines are part
of the
"classic" touch of the car.
    i've recommended Diamond Back to other car owners and i've never heard
a complaint.
