MK1 vs. MK2 springs

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what change was made to the front
springs from the MK1 to the MK2?  The part numbers are
different but the top & bottom rubber pads remained
unchanged so the diameter of the spring is the same.
Is it the height or rate that changed?  (or both)?
