Hi John, Andy et al,
I'm currently using a pair or ageing 185 x 13 tyres on the bakc of my
PI, with 185/70 x 13 on the front. This makes the front arches look
under-occupied and all the tyres are getting old.
Does anyone know if 195/70 x 13 s give adequate clearance for
suspension, brake lines and arches? Also, any thoughts about the
stresses input into the supension/bearings etc. by the larger tyre
footprint? I'm thinking particularly about the front leading arms, which
really should be reinforced, especially on cars with anti-roll bars.
