Is anybody running a 348 or 409 in a TF truck? I have one I'd like to put in my '57, but have no idea where to start. I understand the 348 was designed as an alternate motor for the '58's so I should

I have a stock 59 GMC V8 if anybody's lookin for a core think its a 336 some pontiac variation says GMC on valve covers tho so sure its stock this is motor listed on the vin plate on my 59 GMC 2 ton

Does anyone know how similar this 336 is to a 389, 400 or 455? I'm wondering if those valve covers would work on the later bigger motor. sure put oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built bet

Valve cover GASKETS are the same from 55 (the first Pontiac/GMC V8) until Pontiac quit making their own V8 around 1980. Early 60's Pontiac valve covers were shorter than the 55-59 (maybe later) cover
