Valve cover GASKETS are the same from 55 (the first Pontiac/GMC V8) until
Pontiac quit making their own V8 around 1980. Early 60's Pontiac valve covers
were shorter than the 55-59 (maybe later) covers. Somewhere in the late 60's a
taller than 55-59 valve cover with the same footprint was put into use.
Gaskets are the same for 287,316,336,347,350,389,400,421,428 and 455.
