Having 'been there' myself, I converted to an 8" Ford about a year ago. Same gear ratios available, actually heavier than stock, and no discernable performance difference. Considerably improved peace

My axle/roll experience was on Hoosier Vintage TD's! And while I like the tire in spite of that, they certainly are wider and stickier than what was run in the 50's. There are darned few options. Joh

The SVRA has legalized roller-rockers for production based sports cars, like my TR3. Believe HSR would also allow although can't find specific mention in their rules. John Harkness

Malcolm, Russell makes a line of fittings called "Endura". They're identical to the anodized, but in a plain aluminum color. Even slightly cheaper. I usually get mine from Jeg's in Columbus OH. John
