I have the same switch. I think it's original purpose was to activate a warning sound when the door was opened with the key in the ignition. Stephen

That switch puzzled me for a long time. I believe what I eventually figured out was that one switch turned on the light if the door was open with the ignition on and one swich turned on the light if
