I tried changing the oil in the TR 6 for the first time this weekend and could not remove the oil plug. I quit trying to force it for fear of rounding the head. The plug seems to be in good shape and

The plug, being a square bolt, will tend to be rounded off by a socket or wrench not intended for square bolts. I would suggest going to your local Sears, and plunking down about $4.50 for a single 7

Good luck on getting it out. Whenever I change the oil and reinstall the drainplug, I use Teflon plumbing tape on the threads prior to reinstallation. Makes for a leak proof seal and easy removal. Ch
