Mike, I do not know if a specification was ever published for that, but it would seem that on a rebuild that is broken in, you should expect to get 150-175 psi I suppose there would be some differenc

I'll reply since it appears no one else may have. All of us other TR6 owners are probably just envious. I think 180 (I assume pounds) is very good, actually excellent. It makes me suspect the engine

Am I barking up the wrong tree? With the gasket burnt between 3-4 is this telling me sonething? Is this the reason for no compression readings, or should their be something else. Going to put it back

Chet, Boy, that's a tough one. There are lots of possibilities. You might put thehead back on and find you still have no compression. Possible collapsed rings, worn rings and/or pistons. Question> W
