- I just had the valves on my 76 TR6 adjusted. The car now sounds a little like an industrial strength sewing machine. Is this the normal sound of a properly adjusted TR6? There are no "abnormal" sound

- Same thing on a TR3... if you can't hear the valves you may be pretty sure they're set too tight. Geo Hahn 59 TR3A
