I googled Tenax and found that there are two types of Tenax fastener - the original, made in Germany and marked "GHE" on the head, and an English version, that is not compatible with the German vers

This may be an apples/oranges comparison. The aluminium frame may have a larger sectional dimension and the Tenax's may be mounted further out from the glass, or the glass may be cut slightly smaller
