- You also fitted new pads at this point ? IMO it's more likely that some time in the past, your car has had a seized bearing and it spun on the stub axle. The stuck piston might well have caused the

- Thanks for your comments. I agree that the grooves worn into the discs are not the cause of poor brake performance. Having previously renewed the pads, flexible brake lines and checked the servo fun

- Check the operation of the rear cylinders. If they are frozen it will have a surprisingly significant effect on braking performance. Dave
