- I too have an Ignitor. So far it has worked flawlessly after just over a year and perhaps 5000 miles. However, I have also heard the tales of mysterious failure and always keep my points in the glov

- I put the Ignitor on my 72 TR6. It seemed to make it not only start easier, but also added some HP. But previous to the ignitor, I added the Sports Coil and widened my spark plug gaps. So, scientifi

- Jack, I put one on my '76 TR6. The car started great, but developed a miss under load that I could not fix (until I put the points back in). I also fitted one to my neighbors '75 TR6. Same result. Th

- Well, I was thinking of getting an Ignitor setup for my TR3 (negative ground), but after reading a number of messages describing "missing", I think I'll go with the Allison/Crane unit. -- George Rich

- I installed one on my TR3A and do not have a problem with missing. I am, however, concerned about the relatively short life reported by some. I hate road side repairs. Bob
