- No. But the 'stud' is designed to be removable. It's actually a pin that goes through a tube in the frame, and the head is tapped for an extractor. Lots of them have "become one" over the years, but

- Yes, I have heard that too, but on the two TR3A's that I have had to do this to, I was able to remove the pin from the tube with the application of the BFH and drift. Michael Marr Naperville, IL 196

- In case I was unclear, I also removed my rear spring front mount pins without the use of BFH & drift. I did however use a bunch of swear words, and wear out two homemade pullers (just lengths of all
