I am getting a horrendous schreeching when I turn on the blower motor. I assume this is the fan slipping on the shaft because I get very little air flow. Is this a very tough job to drop the motor? W

TR6's have an electric fan for the heater (at least my '71 did). So I don't think it's the belt slipping. Lots of things get in that area. In my case there was a bird's nest there. The little birdie

I'll bet that the screech is really motor bearings, rather than a slipping fan/shaft connection. It might be a leaf or other trash, but that sound is usually recognizable (we all stuck things in hous
