My comment is that the Mallory lacks a vacuum advance unit, which will hurt your gas mileage on the street. Otherwise, it's probably a superior replacement. However, a rebuilt Lucas will last a long

I am running a Mallory in Rosebud, my 1960 TR3A and drive it both on the street and in at least 1 autox. My engine has similar mods to yours and Weber carbs. My experience so far has been great and
