That would explain why it has always been a tad difficult to start and I just presumed a trait of the car. Steven N. states he uses NGK BP6HS 7331 plugs on his TR4, so I am going to try that, though

You well may be. The failure rate for individual Champs in the TR-4a and the TR-6 were much higher in my experience as opposed to NGK's ==AM== I've nothing against NGKs, although I've never used them

Trouble was, I couldn't see an easy way to get the SC back in place on the bell housing with the line attached. A Spitfire or GT6 doesn't have much working space. == You'd be surprised! What you say

Temp Sensor: The gauge pegs at full tempurature when I ground the wire from the sender to a good ground. That tells me the gauge is still good. However this is a new sensor and it did the same thing

I picked up a replacement speedo for the '3 a little while ago. I finally get around to installing it. I notice the "model" number on the face is different, mine is a 1180 the replacement is a 1200.

I believe the nut is 1-1/16" I recall this because I had to buy a socket for the job... my 1-1/8" was too loose. == I can confirm 1 and 1/16" as I just completed a steering wheel swap on my Herald! -
