- It would be good to get a shutoff valve installed while you are doing the pump work. I think the OEM type valve is still available but if not, any good valve could be installed up near the fuel tank

- I think there is no disagreement on the functionality of the stock system. I added an oil cooler to this car and I believe that it is contributing to the issue. Keep in mind that I am not overheating

- You are probably not going to get a smooth idle under 950-1000 rpm with a S2 cam. 4 degrees after is emissions timing. With the S2, you will want something closer to 12 degrees before at idle. Irv Ko

- Usually much smaller than that, around 1.5 ohms. Best check IMO is to turn the engine until the points are closed (or install a jumper to simulate points closed) and check how much voltage you have

- A stumble coming off idle is sometimes a sign of a lean condition.B I know you have set the idle mixture, and presumably it is not too lean.B But with the wrong needles, you may be too lean off idle
