Sorry, Mark, I can't help you with a Mass. salvage yard. The doors on TR-6s may have had some minor interior changes that I'm unaware of, but for all intents and purposes any door will do. Even TR-4

Just so nobody out there gets the wrong idea: The TR-6 block is from a different casting, with a bulge on the side to clear the long stroke crank. They are otherwise identical, but a 2.5 crank won't

Joe, when a wire breaks internally (this is called "open" as opposed to a "short") it is usually at a high stress area. The first thing to try is cut off the end at the coil, go back 1/2 inch or so
