- Apparently the feeling was that it was better to have a fire than to chance having your headlights go out unexpectedly (due to fuse failure). Having tried it both ways, I'm not sure they were wrong.

- The handle edges are made sharp on purpose, Randall. This is done to prevent you from over-torquing the nut. You will stop tightening because of hand pain when the proper torque is achieved. John H.
