- I removed the pistons yesterday, 3 of 4 pistons had the rings all broke up and 1 (front piston) had quite a bit of wear between the ring grooves, so much so that the piston was starting to break up.

- The liners are now out. An 8" X 1" aluminum rod was used as the persuasive drift, and a 1/2" X 8" brass for the "fine" work. It did take some persuasion with a BFH to get them to move, but once moved

- NO, place the gasket sealer on the gasket, then place the preped gasket into the ening carfully to insure proper position. THEN install the liners carfully & EVENLY so not to damage the Fig.* gasket.
