My '65 Tiger came with a factory posi and a @ 3.17 ratio. This was just about right for all around driving and still being able to get up and go at a decent clip from a stop light.

Jim: The trim ring is a '63/'64 Ford Galaxy part, from a 4 speed model. Your best bet would be to try a NOS Ford specialist, like the ones found in Hemmings. I actually found one at a local Ford deal

Tony; If memory serves me, the plastic part of the vent is riveted to the car. Remove the metal grills and drill out the rivets. Or, just get a shop vac and clean it out.
