- I just had a frustrating time with a replacement water drain tap on the block of my 948. This is the second one I have gotten that leaks. First of all, it says it is made in Taiwan, with a Union Jack

- Where does it leak? At the Tap, or at the threads? If it's the threads, a thread sealer should stop it. Try teflon tape. If it's the tap, I have one that was not leaking when I removed it. LM --Origi

- If you have been buying from MOSS, don't blame me. Your problem is "Made In Taiwan" Sold by Moss!!! I learned my lesson over 10 years ago but I still get chinese junk filtering in from moss wannabes.

- Why not take the new drain tap and fill the inside of the threaded shaft with epoxy? You know the threads match and I am certain you could effectively plug the tap prior to the valve. Would save you
