Derf I have put 1275 dizzys into 1500 motors more then once. The advace curve of the 1500 dizzy is something like 23*, the 1275 ranges from 10 to 18 depending on year. Maybe this is the reason for th

No... they will fit interchangeably, but not the same part number. I'm sure advance is different as well as original Bugueye would have a screw-on vacuum line at the vacuum advance. Gerard

Willy, They will fit each other and are interchangeable but are not the same part. The advances are different. The Bugeye had a metal vacuum line and the later Sprites and Midgets are rubber or plast
