OK gang, any secrets to getting the hub nuts off the rear on a spridget? Went out and bought a humongous socket and a 3/4" adapter to attach it to my flex handle. But I can't budge either of the two

I use the humongous socket on a long 1/2" breaker bar with about a 4 foot length of pipe. Sometimes 6 foot. Sometimes have to first roll the Spridget up against something, like a big tree, that won't

Hi Hal, Careful, one of the nuts is left hand treaded. That's backward to us right handers. Just ran into this same thing on Puddles my 60 bugeye. My local friend at the shop recommended penning the
