The Engine Number is 8G150-RS54795, and on top is a 12G295 head. The bores match that of a standard 1098cc BMC (it has the familiar "1100" tag riveted on the side), and it has 2" mains like a "10CC"

Glad to see they are illegal somewhere, should be everywhere. Not just soft but they work harden and get brittle when used as brake lines, pressures are much less on a fuel line and it might be safe

did you check to make sure the t-stat opens ? or even try running without it to see if that helps, I don't recommend running without one long term but if the B-stat does not open that will overheat y
