- Fiberglas resin that is Methel Ethel Keytone based will wick into the crack and seal it. I patched a gas tank with it and it held up for over 10 years. It was still fine when I sold the vehicle. JB W

- Our filler tube was rust perforated right around the entrance to the the tank. Seems the sponge rubber gasket held moisture against it for all those years. I repaired it with ample coatings of POR-1
